  • since the module dimensions were designed around Kato Uni-Track dimensions, use a ruler with METRIC MARKINGS

• Securely mount your track
• Build your scenery with 'little fingers' in mind
  • T-TRAK displays are perfect for a family-friendly show and kids want to touch everything
• Super Trees are nice, but don't hold up well
• Build sturdy and robust structures and securely glue them to the module
• Take your time and don't be afraid to start over
• Add elevations for scenic interest
• Make your module 'railfan' friendly
  • Include a backdrop, it really finishes a scene
• Spread out
  • Build several small modules with a central theme rather than one huge module

• Use #6 switches on the mainlines
• Use #4 switches anywhere else
• Paint your front fascia (Black is good)
• Mark your wiring connections
  • Red for the outer loop; yellow for the inner
• Paint the rails and Ballast your track
• If your module isn't uniformly assembled, it can't (and shouldn't) be put into a display layout.

You can scale them to fit larger paper.

I usually have them professionally printed at 11" x 17". Lots of extra space to make your backdrop.

Attach to 1/4" foamboard with spray adhesive.

Cut to desired size and mount to the back or your module.
